Restaurant Finca49 in Mallorca opened it’s doors in 2017, and was featured on Channel 4’s “a new life in sun” programme. Serving Steve’s eclectic, Mexican inspired menu in Clare’s beautifully designed space, it soon became a destination for discerning diners from all over the island, Europe and the Americas.

With it’s use of local, foraged, and home grown ingredients it soon earned critical acclaim and was voted Tripadvisors number 1 restaurant for four years in a row; having survived the brutal pandemic years, and now with 2 new grandchildren, it is time for a rest, and the restaurant will close in 2024

Clare, Steve, and the family would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful customers, who have eaten the tacos, bought the hot sauce, swam in the pool, drank cocktails, danced, laughed and loved the tunes – without your smiles, it just wouldn’t have been the same!
